Superintendent Education Program
The long term objectives of the Superintendent Education Program are to develop a widely accepted accredited, practical and sustainable training structure for Asia covering essential theoretical and practical skills for Golf Course Management that provides a clear pathway for Superintendents / Greenkeepers to advance.
Some of the key factors which make this a huge task are obvious; logistics, languages, different cultural approaches, different level of competencies, geographical and conflicts with revenue generation from education etc.
Over the years many of our federation members have run education meetings or supported conferences. AGIF will focus the industry resources on more practical training. In the short term we will focus on running seminars in conjunction with local associations. The AGIF Board has recently approved two seminars in 2010.
